Handcrafted from New Zealand Kokopu (pounamu), this medium Toki pendant is a cherished piece of traditional artistry, symbolising strength, determination, bravery and leadership. The pendant features soft green tones, with streaks of darker and lighter hues, and unique speckles that reflect the beauty of the native Kokopu trout.
The intricately carved notches reflect traditional Māori carving, historically representing whakapapa (genealogy) and the passing of wisdom between generations. Today, these notches may also represent whānau members or loved ones, adding personal meaning to each pendant.
Symbolising strength, determination, and bravery, it features a distinctive matte finish with natural green specks. Paired with an adjustable black handwoven cord for a personalised fit, the pendant is presented in an eco-friendly box with a Toki meaning and care card.

Durability: While pounamu (greenstone) is celebrated for its robustness, its dense nature makes it vulnerable to shock. Handle with care to maintain its integrity.
Protection: Avoid placing or wearing your pounamu on hard surfaces where it might get chipped.
Wear Often: Wear your pounamu frequently to enhance its shine with your natural skin oils. The cord is durable but will naturally wear over time.
Cleaning: Simply use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap for your pounamu. Beeswax or coconut oil can also be applied to moisturise the stone. Avoid harsh chemicals, as they may harm its surface.
Within NZ courier: $4.50 or Free delivery on orders over $50 (1-2 days)
